AOL
moves to Google
It looks like AOL has made the transition to using
Google's technology for their search results. That
seems to mean that they won't be moving to a paid-listing
business model anytime soon.

Yahoo
expands Paid Submissions
It seems Yahoo is extending it's practice of requiring
businesses to pay for listings. They've recently
made it a requirement on their portals in Ireland
and Italy, though unlike the U.S. it's only a one
time fee.
